Architects need their tools and resources. On this page, I share with you some of my favorites.
Make It

Makers of all types rely on their tools to create. I hope I can inspire you to create something of your own!

  • Pilot Razor Point Pens

These pens are my go-to for everything from making quick notes to sketching things quickly. They have a sharp point, and the ink flows freely without clogging.

  • Cover of the book titled "ArchitectDoodle" by Steve Bowkett, labeled as "An Architect's Activity Book" with a blue sticker saying "For Architects of All Ages" and a background of architectural sketches.

Archidoodle - An Architect's Activity Book

This book illustrates some techniques for sketching buildings, but it’s also just fun to look at.

  • Cover of a textbook titled 'Building Construction Illustrated' by Francis D. K. Ching, Sixth Edition, featuring technical drawings of construction elements.

    Building Construction Illustrated

This book helped me through my architectural registration exams because most of the study materials needed to pass the exams are wordy, lengthy texts, so this book provided beautiful sketches to enjoy while still learning. Francis Ching’s books are all wonderful to peruse.
